Do you want to see people saved?
Do you want to see your loved ones saved?

The recipe is very easy. Jesus communicated it to the apostles more than 2000 years ago.

John 13:34-35  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another..

Evangelisation events are sometimes organised one after the other in local churches. We no longer know where to find the idea that will work, find the key solution, the event that will bring more people into the local church.
Concerts, parties, games, picnics, all kinds of outdoor activities, we see all kinds of them.
In some places we sometimes even see the costs rise to reach huge financial amounts. We no longer know how to impress people to bring them in.
This is exactly what most non-Christian event organizers do around the world. We try to impress with visuals, sounds, etc.
It is not necessary to discuss this point, everyone knows the different techniques to attract people through organized events in this world.

It is easy to see that the result is not there, since it has been practiced  in the body of Christ for decades. Most of the time, these time-consuming and costly activities only bring together a majority of Christians, and very few people who need to go through the new birth.

Would this mean that organizing outreaching activities in local churches or elsewhere is bad?
No, not at all... But you have to add the main ingredient!

Jesus did not say: "Organize events to attract people to me! ». He himself did not do it. Yet already at that time we could find people who gathered in various organized events. This already existed. Certainly not as much as today, but it nevertheless existed.
The New Testament writings cover about the first 70 years of the grace period, yet nowhere we can see any organization of events in order to evangelize.
We could say: "But Franck, you have to live with our times! ».
Yes, that's absolutely true, but again, only if you add the main ingredient.

Jesus began by giving the following rule. It is a commandment He has given, not an advice.

John 13:34-35  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

It will be of little use to go to any trouble to organize, spend money, spend time on events, or even talk to people around you, if this commandment of Jesus is not respected in my daily life.
It's not that God would prevent people from coming to Him, not at all!
"But you can tell a tree by the fruits it bears." Certainly Jesus spoke this word about false teachers, but this is applicable to everyone. If the result I produce with my attitude, with my lifestyle, is not in conformity with what Jesus taught, manifesting an unconditional love, if it does not make people want to possess it, then no one will be interested in what is being proposed. I cannot propose the peace in Christ if I do not possess it myself. Nor could I offer a safe life, where nothing is lacking, and with the authority over any disease, if I don't possess it myself. I cannot offer others to become a disciple of Jesus if I am not a disciple myself....

In short, if I don't reflect the person of Jesus in my everyday life, how will people see Jesus through me?
If I don't love my brother, my sister in Christ as the apostle John says, how will people recognize that I am a disciple of Jesus?
The problem is that it is much easier to organize events or activities, rather than to change yourself. Yet personal transformation is the basis of salvation.

The primary purpose of salvation is not to have an eternal passport to heaven. If God has saved us (when we accept Jesus' offer for us), it is first of all to enter into a process that will make me become like God.
The first step in this transformation is to have my spirit regenerated in Jesus Christ. At this point I am what the Bible calls "born again".
But that's where it all starts. After my new birth I am then engaged in a transformation, which reveals this new person that I am.

I am a son, a daughter of the One who created the whole universe. Because I am His son, His daughter, I then become like my Father, His nature develops in me as I believe it by my faith.

God is love, this is why Jesus said that it is because we will manifest love for each other that people will see that we are His disciples. If I am His son, His daughter, then I become love as He is love. This is what makes all the difference, and it is in this sense that people who are not yet born again will be able to see that Jesus is still alive today. It is impossible to love each other unconditionally simply with our good human resolutions. To love each other as the Bible teaches is supernatural.
This is why, in the face of such an outcome, people are first called upon to take action, then they will want to live this experience in a second phase.

Activities without loving each other, without loving your neighbour do not work very well, because otherwise the churches should be full of people. It is easy and sad at the same time to see that most local church leaders have difficulty filling the empty chairs.

But what would happen if ALL Christians took this command of Jesus seriously? Love one another!
What would happen if most of us really knew God, in order to love our neighbour unconditionally as God Himself does?

1 John 4:20  If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

If John says that he who does not love his brother whom he sees cannot love God whom he does not see, it is by focusing on loving God that I will be able to love my brother.
The more I understand how much and how God loves me, the more I will love Him myself in return. It is when I understand that I am loved unconditionally, that my love for God will grow, and it is when I really begin to love God that I will also love my neighbour.
It is when I love my neighbour, I love my brothers and sisters, that people will see that we are disciples of Jesus Christ.

In 90% of cases, when a person refuses the offer that Jesus makes to him on the cross, it is because he has not understood it.
People often do not understand because they are not well explained, or because they do not use all that God has given them.
Quite often Christians who explain this offer of the cross incorrectly have not understood it themselves. They did not understand that the primary purpose of salvation is to become love as God is love.
And because I am a son (a daughter), who is love as God is love, I can say: "I am like my Father!”. His power is in me, His authority is in me as well.
What is important to understand is that I manifest all the power and the love of God, only because I am His son, because I have this position, this identity in Jesus.

I am love because I am His son (His daughter).
I am His son ( His daughter) because He loved me first.
Because He loved me and I am His child, I have eternal life with my Father.
Because I am His child, I am love.
Because I am love, I love my neighbour as myself.
Because I love my neighbour as myself, I talk to them about my Father by showing signs and wonders.

Bye for now.
